Welcome to the Hudson Voice Technique course!

IMPORTANT - each lesson has accompanying scripts which are in your Work Booklet. Please download the booklet in the next lesson.

During the course, you can read and record from printed paper but you will also have the option of reading off the screen.

During the course, we advise you to record yourself. You can either do this on your mobile phone, but better yet, you can download a free software: Audacity which is an easy-to-use recording programme. Make sure to also download the LAME MP3 encoder. This will enable you to save (export) your recordings to MP3 format. Make sure you make a note where you put the encoder file. The first time you export a recording to MP3, Audacity will ask you to locate the LAME MP3 encoder. You will only have to do this once.

When you start your first lecture - the Introduction, click on the little gear wheel in the upper left corner of the page, and turn autoplay to 'off'.

Before you start a lecture, please first print the PDF files so you have them ready.
